Fulfillment

Fulfillment.

This is certainly a concept everyone seeks in their lives. In the moments of pain and anguish, the one true hope we have is that we shall achieve everything we want in our lives, no matter how long it takes. Unfortunately time is our only enemy, and yet, this fact also gives us hope, for it is ONLY time that hinders our progress. Personally, I yet have many goals in my life that I want to accomplish. I work hard in order to be able to achieve them, and often get frustrated that time has not been kinder.  But I still have hope and still keep working.

Nevaline Scarcliff’s world changes when the father whom she thought was dead is actually very much alive and well. She has a new purpose in life, a goal that will give her fulfillment: to live out her days with her father in a peaceful existence.

“I thought my father walked within the gates of Casaneas, long since deceased. Yet my eyes met with great surprise at the miracle of that man yet drawing breath. Hope exists within the most improbable of circumstances.” –Nevaline Scarcliff, Satchel & Sword I. The Search for the Saluka Stone.

Why do we seek fulfillment and what gives us hope?

FULILLMENT ..TO me it seems a deep quest from within…to each different …yet the same…
I have had a hard time with finding what that means for me in my own life…
i always thought it would be like Nevaline…with my parents finally embracing me as their daughter….or when i got married to my husband …
yet with both parents gone on the other side of this journey and a divorce from my ex….i still seek the meaning….as i spent most my years raising our daughters alone without any help from their dad…he just disappeared after the divorce….
Now that my girls are grown and fulling their own life ..i do believe i am seeking that fulfillment for myself…and who i am and what it is that would and will fulfill me as a person…
so the quest for me continues…and i walk it each day finding the parts that will come together to make a whole and yet bring to my soul the walk of finding…and i do believe it is a day by day ….so much beauty….the fullness of that…being surrounding with the Beauty of nature and the spirit of each living thing…the full circle of fulfillment…if that makes sense….brings the full circle of life”s fulfillment…it has to be me that finds that within and not from some other…so ya…i am getting there…each day..:)

Yes, I agree. I like how you expressed it, finding the parts that will make up a whole of our fulfillment. To each person it is different and finding our own fulfillment is key.
