Family

Family means different things to different people. To most it is the typical parent(s)/child(children) unit that bonds them with each other and gives them happiness and courage. To others, a family can mean a group of close friends or even a grandparent or aunt or uncle. To me, family is a close relationship that you feel in your heart and in your gut. To Nevaline, she did not know her mother, for she sorrowfully died at childbirth. But her father raised her until he disappeared when she was only 8 years old. She adored him for he taught her many things, even in that short amount of time. In the following quote, Nevaline is thinking about Sibli and how to deal with Sibli’s daily derision.

“Nevaline’s father imparted helpful words regarding dealings with such people: coping with others is like caring for a sword, day after day it must see diligent sharpening and persistent polishing.” –Satchel & Sword I. The Search for the Saluka Stone.

Family mean to me Love, Courage, Care, and specially Support. My parents for instant they work a lot and they always have time for me and my brother. They protect us from everything until the day we got married and left the house. Even then, they keep caring for us with love. Now, I have my own family, husband and daughter and all the love I received from my parents I past it to my daughter and husband. Love is the feeling that makes any person the most rich person in the world and family is the universe!
