Loneliness

Posted by admin March 17th, 2013

In the matter of a split second one can feel absolutely alone in this world. No one is there to support you. No one is there to feel what you feel. Every single second thereafter feels like an eternity of pain. We have all felt this. When that feeling hits us for the first time, it is shocking to say the least. It certainly was for me. But we must always keep in mind that we have all gone through it and we are not alone. We must work to gather around us the people who truly care. It is in the confidence of knowing that there are others who can empathize that gives us hope. Do not worry, for we shall succeed. It may take time, but we shall succeed.

Nevaline finds herself alone.

“She decided to reminisce and regard the ring left behind by her best friend. She bent down, removed the jewelry box from her satchel. ‘Snipe!’ she whispered to herself. The box was empty. Did someone take it?” –Satchel & Sword I.: The Search for the Saluka Stone.

I experienced loneliness two time in my life, the first time when I got married and came to this country, I didn’t know nobody here so when my husband went to work I felt alone. The second time was when my daughter went to the university and move out of the house. I don’t wish that feeling to nobody, but I got through being busy a lot, it helps a little.

First and foremost you have to be your own best friend. If you are true to yourself and strive to grow as an individual…that will get you through the times that you seem all alone. Having all the loving friends an family in the world will not make you happy unless you can enjoy your own company.
